ok i think your crazy.

just think about that for a minute, it takes me almost equally as long to download a trailer at 1080i as it does to download a movie from itunes. the sheer bandwidth needed by apple to support 1080i MOVIES would be phenominal and it would still take forever on an average connection speed

Oh, yeah, well...I have FIOS =) 15Mbit/2Mbit

The 1080 trailers tend to be about 8000kbit or half my connection so I can watch them in real time. I wish apple would optimize quicktimes downloading engine, since I can barely watch in realtime while its downloading (cpu's get maxxed) but once its done downloading it only takes up like 60-70% iirc. I usually use 720p just cause my computer isn't fast enough.

I was mostly just complaining that 640x480 is hardly 'stunning' even DVD's area little disappointing compared to HD these days.
