Or just right-click
By right/control-clicking on any selected group of songs, you can select "Clear Downloaded Artwork". Then right/control-click again to "Get Album Artwork". No need to go to the Get Info window.

Yeah, except that, in my own case at least, the contextual menu doesn't seem to do anything to clear out older artwork. I've never been able to get it to do what it's supposed to.

That option only appears for tracks that already have art from the iTunes Music Store (hence the name 'Clear Downloaded Artwork'), which kind of defeats the purpose.
Incidentally, the 'Get Album Artwork' contextual menu option is available for tracks which already have artwork, although it doesn't appear to do anything.

Nope, doesn't work. Only clears downloaded artwork from iTunes Store, not artwork they may be embedded. |
