Fast User Switch while logging out of prior account

Why bother with trying to time it correctly to click OK on the logoff screen in those 2 seconds you have. It will log them off automatically anyway. You can just choose logoff and during the 2 minute countdown, do the fast user switch.

But why log them off at all? No harm in them being logged in and it will let them switch to their own accounts faster than logging on new each time.

one word: resources. It cost in RAM and processor to keep all those programs/processes running in the background. Granted, if you've maxed out your G5 or MacPro with 16GB of RAM, then I wouldn't worry ;).
