Burn playlists that iTunes thinks are too long

Gaps between songs don't take up space on a CD. The gap is a special audio cd feature that get's processed by your cd player which then waits the set amount of time before starting the new song.
You can even set the gap to for instance 8 minutes, and this would take up no space on your cd. (In the old days Toast Jam could do this).

Hello,
I'm afraid this is not true. Pregap actually take space on the CD, they are blank (nul) data and are written at the end of each track, except for the first track (pregap duration is in TOC).

You can check that by yourself: put a 10sec pregap and burn the CD. Now open that track with quicktime and you will notice that the track is 10secs longer than the original audio file.
