Use the Reload button in Safari for initial page loading

To score extra laziness points, try just highlighting the URL, then right-clicking. In quite a few apps, I see an option to Go To URL, or to search for that highlighted text in Google. Either one will take you to the web, direct to that URL or to a Google search result that has that URL as a clickable link, at top.

It doesn't work for me in Firefox, but I got so used to doing this that I still have the habit of trying it first. I think Safari will do it for you. It could be that I've installed something that causes this [I learn about plenty of nice labor-saving apps and tricks at this site], so take a look for yourself.
