Strange facts about copy and paste of Finder items
Authored by: atFault on Aug 10, '06 07:14:04AM

While I have used #3 before I was unaware that the condition was that it had to be a plain text field that was being pasted into. Just yesterday I was trying to paste a file name list into an .rtf document to send to a printer without success. For a large number of print jobs this hint is near priceless.

My only solution was to use terminal to list folder contents then copy/paste into my .rtf doc.

Thanks for the tip, this now makes sense and will save me lots of time.

Let me through, let me through, I got here late.
