How to copy just the filename
Authored by: googoo on Aug 09, '06 10:12:58AM

I thought everybody knew this, but maybe not. It is easier than Apple's Pro Tip.

When I want to copy the filename from the Finder, I click on the icon and press Return (or Enter). This highlights the filename. Then, I hit cmd-c. Viola. Just be sure to un-select the filename before typing something else, or you will change it. (Pressing Return again will do this.)
