Macbook and Boot Camp video driver conflict workaround
Authored by: themacdetective on Aug 04, '06 07:13:56PM

I noticed this problem after installing bootcamp. I thought it was related to Bootcamp and since I wanted to use Parallels I decided to Zero Data erase the drive. I installed everything fresh and did not install bootcamp. Well, I am still having the issue. It seems if I power off the MacBook for a few hours it will do it. I have to do the PRAM rest to get it to work. I also have tried booting up off the install DVD and setting the start-up disk to the Macintosh HD. I will see if that works.
My question would be if totally erasing the drive and reinstalling the OS does not fix this then what will?
NOTE: I have tried the 3 ring PRAM zap and resetting the PMU. Still did it.
