Remove the dot extension from folder names
Authored by: kel on Jul 21, '06 10:00:33AM

The issue I was referring to here was specific to FOLDER names. Not files, Applications etc, that generally use the extensions in some fashion. For the life of me I don't know of a reason (other than the user "wants to") that there would need to be a DOT extension on a Folder.

I can field this one. Because the extension is ".app" and the folder has the 'package' flag set. In other words: its an application.

Perhaps a user developing a website would have

/www/vhosts/mydomain.com/htdocs
