Outstanding
I just downloaded and took a quick look. I like what I see so far, very good aqua intergration once you select it in the options. The performance is indeed a little sluggish but that's true of a few other apps and it is usable. The only classic app I was using anymore was BBEdit for PHP coding. Now I'm truly running MacOS X exclusively. Thanks!

I probably should have added detail on how to get the Aqua interface going. It's in the prefs

You shouldn't need to set the global default to PHP -- jEdit is recognizes files
