Avoid an immediate restart after system updates

Indeed, for some updates that require a reboot, like Quicktime (why oh why do quicktime updates require a reboot???) it is probably OK to delay it. But for others, I have discovered that bad things can happen if kernel extensions and system libraries don't match. Don't try it. Just wait until you can reboot to apply your updates.

Quicktime updates all sorts of libraries. And just about anything that is open will want to load those QT libraries.
