Avoid a Google Browser Sync startup bug with Firefox

Not much of a problem. Move the ~/Library/Application Support/Firefox directory to the encrypted drive and then symbolic link (ln -s source target) it from there back to its original position. Now all the bookmarks, prefs and whatever will only be accessible while the encrypted drive is mounted.

Thanks, folks. Part of the beauty of this site is the part where you correct my hint or point out things I hadn't thought of yet -- I appreciate it!

I think I might try the symlink el bid mentions. I was also glad to learn of Portable Firefox, which I'll also try. Whichever solution gives me the least troubles with updating extensions and Firefox updates, I'll probably stick with.
