To also clarify, I just tested this hint with WMV files (my hint had pertained only to WMA files.) Here I too have no problems using the "Export" function of Quicktime.

I am fairly confident that Flip4Mac doesn't support every WMV codec (for example WMA Lossless is unsupported.)

The hint yields significant speed improvements over previous WMA solutions for Mac.
