10.4: Bring all X11 windows forward after app switch

I simply mapped Bring All to Front in X11 to Command-B (but of course any key combination is fine). Sometimes my windows come forward when I switch, in which case all is fine; sometimes they don't, and then I just hit Command-B. I'd find the recede-come forward behaviour of Exposé in this setting a little distracting.

By the way, the poster says that a fix has 'supposedly' been implemented. I'm not sure what was meant by that, but when I followed the instructions at the link supplied to download the 'good' Xquartz from the 10.4.3 update, the bad behaviour vanished for me. (I am running 10.4.6, but must never have run the 10.4.3 update directly.)

How do you map a key combination to a menu option? This sounds like a reasonably good fix, but I can't figure out how to get this to work.

Thanks!

I know that I'm replying long after you posted your question, but, if you're still interested, you can map key combinations to menu items under Keyboard & Mouse in System Preferences.
