People are getting errors saying a jpg or a png had a problem but yet iWeb continues to upload to .mac without any indication that the upload is in progress or even when it completes. Here's how I'm managing to get by until Apple releases a fix.

1. Open Applications/Utilities/Activity Monitor, Network to monitor sent activity
2. Open iWeb
3. Make all your edits
4. Publish, sent activity should jump when iWeb completes creating pages
5. Let it error on whatever jpg or png, hit ok
6. Leave iWeb open until sent activity drops back to zero
7. Close iWeb
8. Delete prepublishstate.plist in your domain file
9. Repeat for any other edits

Unfortunately the advanced features are hit and miss but at least I can get only new pages to upload instead of the entire site.

Here's the thread where that came from

Apple is working on a fix, there's no need to rebuild your entire .mac site.

Why anyone would use iWeb is beyond me. Get a decent web design package such as Rapidweaver from realmacsoftware.com I can't believe that Apple have released a package that basically just designs a web page where 99% of the elements are pictures! Truly awful.

The server is up but the site is down and I don't know which direction you are trying to go
