Use advanced Red-Eye and Retouch tools in iPhoto6

I found this hack stayed in place until I restarted iPhoto. I didn't need to do the ctrl+caps+kp9 each time.

Nice hint - I like this quirky things.... good for "did you know that.." conversations in the pub :-)

Strange -- it definitely vanishes each time I exit Edit mode on my G5...

The advanced mode still works after I quit the edition mode.

But I do not find the equivalent of the "[" key with French azerty keyboard.

In portuguese keyboard the [ is alt-8 and the ] is alt-9 though it's not marked on the keyboard, maybe in the french layout the keys are the same!

I see that others mention non-US locales.... I'm running English (UK) English. Maybe that might make a difference?

I figured it out (and modified the original hint). If you edit in a separate window, then the advanced mode will be disabled each time you edit an image.

But if you edit in the main window, then it does indeed persist between edits.

Has anyone been able to find a way to have these available all the time without going through the steps each time? Could an Apple Script or Automater be used? Thanks for any info. JB
