Hi there,

wouldn't Goliath simply use the network settings you have in system preferences?

i.e., I assume if you are behind a firewall, you'd have this already set in your network prefs...and so using connect to iDisk with should still work?

Yes you're dead right. I hadn't even bothered to explore the preferences. It would make more sense to do it that way if you access more than one WebDav server. It doesn't make much difference if, like me, you just use it to access one iDisk. I have the connection saved as a file and up on my toolbar, with the iDisk icon pasted on top. One click and I'm there, preferences or no preferences.
