Partition a hard disk without losing data

For users with PPC machines it is possible to resize partitions by using a linux live CD.

I used the Ubuntu Live CD to resize the HFS+ partition on my PowerBook and had no problems. http://www.ubuntu.com/download

Nice thread and excellent use of Ubuntu, thanks for posting it Tim! Maybe the information from the Ubuntu thread should be submitted as a hint!?
