Delete Firefox bookmark backups to save space

Curious, I went to check my own folder. I see only 6 files, as if it's only keeping backups of the last 5 times I ran Firefox, plus today.

It may be that the BookMarks Synchronizer extension is affecting this. I noticed, after starting and quitting Firefox, that the backups in this folder didn't change, not even after a 2nd start/quit, when I used the BS extension to download & upload my bookmarks. I'm sure they synchronized, but the files in this folder didn't change. Hmm.

Oh well. Not sure why my Firefox only keeps the last 5 or 6 bookmarks, but I'm OK with it.

I'm not so worried about my 5 backup files -- but why do I have *95* bookmark files, i.e. bookmarks-x.html, where x is a number between 1 and 95?
