10.4: Make Flash work in Universal Safari
Authored by: liyanage on Apr 23, '06 11:42:44PM

Two quick notes, maybe it helps someone else:

1.) Adobe now provides the Intel Flash Plugin for download at http://www.macromedia.com/cfusion/knowledgebase/index.cfm?id=2dda3d81

2.) Installing the plugin from the above address restored my ability to play Flash, but when I bought QuickTime Pro and installed the license key, QuickTime took over and I did not know about this (seemingly well-known) issue with the MIME mappings. Like others here mentioned, I had to go to the QuickTime system preferences and uncheck the Flash media type.
