Sigh. When will web site designers learn to stop browser sniffing? Firefox has a "Report Broken Web Site" option under the help menu that you should use.

I would imagine it'll be about the time that the browsers render the content in the same manner (i.e. not broken according to the standards; or breaking a poor standard in the same way) and the standards bodies explicitly define all parts of their standards, rather than leaving some vague or agent-defined.

When all browsers become 100 percent standards-compliant. Or rather, when IE becomes standards-compliant. Which implies when pigs fly :-)

Browser detection is all but critical nowadays especially in modern web applications. The realistic solution should be developing more intelligent techniques for this detection, rather than a regex that sifts for keywords.
