And if you or some determined user types the complete url into a text editor such as Text Edit then drags and drops it onto Dictionary or Helper Viewer you then have a working browser. Minus favorites and forward and back buttons. Thanks Apple

I tried to put the url in the dictionary but it doesn't work.

After a bit of trial and error, I found that dropping the url into the search field gives me the definition of http. And if there's anything in the search field at all it won't display the website. so clear the search field and try again -- make sure you're dragging the url into the space where the definition would be.

Actually, if you use the help viewer, you do get back and forward buttons! Still, this does not make it entirely suited to web browsing.
