My scrollball stopped scrolling down. I thought it was broken, but it turns out that pressing it really hard and rolling with wet cloth really helps!

Here's another tip: pre-moistened eyeglass cloths. Flip the mouse over and dig the ball into the cloth (make sure the cloth is only damp not wet like a wet-nap) and roll it around while pressing down with medium pressure...I did this with a web page open and within seconds I could see that I was back in scrolling heaven!

Just wanted to post and confirm that - when my Mighty Mouse would only scroll 'down' - I got a slightly wet cloth, turned the mouse upside down, and < strongly> moved the scroll ball around in all directions. And it now works fine! (I was pretty sure it was dead, but - this worked). ==twitta
