10.4: Transfer data via iMac G5 (iSight) IrDA port

Sorry to not really offer a hint, as I didn't do anything special to make it happen. I just thought it might interest some people. Unfortunately, I don't really have any information other than I've noticed Virtual PC shows up the port as "Infrared Port" under USB Devices. And guess what guys, I can't make it work again :) It doesn't make a difference if I'm running this (or any app) or not.

I conclude the following possibles:

1. It got sent with bluetooth. The software I was using on my Pocket PC could have had a bug which sends stuff with bluetooth as well while you think it's doing IR.
2. I imagined it
3. It is some kind of future feature of Apple's which they've disabled with the Software Update I did since then. Maybe something in their home media quest will use IR for talking to the Mac. Doubt it.

I am running 10.4.5 on a Power PC, and I used an XDA Mini S Pocket PC.

Anyway, if there are any tests you would like me to carry out, let me know.
