As of 10.4.5 you do not need to do anything to the installer to make it work. That problem was specifically addressed in the 10.4.5 update. However, you still can't run the plugin in QuickTime while it is running in native mode.

I just tried to install Flip4Mac with 10.4.5 and It still tells me it can't install on an Intel Mac. I also have the newest security update installed. Why might that be?

Just installed WMP on the office's new Intel Mac. No issues whatsoever. All streaming video and radio programs working very well. I realize Microsoft isn't supporting this, but at this time it works.

I did the same thing, d/led the WMP 9 player for mac form MS and installed it.
It works fine except for the browser plugin. but it gives me the option when I load a page top open the windows media file directly in WMP instead of embedded in the browser.

If i set Safari to run in rosetta mode, the plugin would work fine.
