Why not simply select the attachment and forward the message? The forwarded message will contain only the attachment. No need to drag and drop anything.

There's nothing "wrong" with doing it your way, too. No reason you can't do either one. The point of a hint is to tell you how to do something, but it's not necessary that the hint tell you the *best* way to do something.

Yeah, it's a minor hint, and I'm hardly new to the concept of drag-and-drop, thank you very much, but it was an unexpected victory when I tried it instinctively and had it actually work.

Also worth pointing out is that my way is one step. Selecting the attachment then clicking "Forward" is two. ;)
