10.4: Make Flash work in Universal Safari
Authored by: Canuck on Mar 05, '06 05:10:28AM

Interesting: I reinstalled Safari and the plugins from the install disc using Pacifist, as per the thread, and unchecked the QT MIME type. This restored the ability to use Flash/Shock in Firefox, but I still can't see Flash and Shock in Safari.

Is there some additional step I've missed??

Thanks.

(Using Safari on an Imac 2.0 Duo)

Yes - use the find feature of pacifist and you may find that you do not have the flash.plugin installed in your Internet Plung-Ins directory. Once you find the package using pacifist install it to the appropriate dir.

good luck
