I can only think of two problems: the printer is in the other queue, lp2, or there is a network problem. Did you try the other queue too?

I sometimes can't print, but at such moment I can't ping it neither. Switching the printserver off and on always works.
If you can ping, and probably also access the web interface, all should work.
Maybe you have a firewall running somewhere? Either on your Mac or between your Mac and the printserver? I believe it prints on the printer port TCP 515.
