Samsung, anybody?

Niether of these hints cover any support for Samsung phones like the excellent D600... Does anybody have any intel on getting iSync to play with these for iCal and Address Book together? (A syncing solution can be forced for the Address Book alone via OnSync - http://www.onmadesoft.com/)

No, really. This is a healthy obsession.

Many of the new mobile phones use different core software and are not compatible with the hacks which worked on previous models. The Motorola V3x is a good example. In fact, the Motorola V3x does not even fully support the bluetooth transfer of vcards between other Motorola phones if unsupported fields are used. Full iSync support will require an update from Apple.
