Put the Services Back in the Contextual Menu
In NextStep and OpenStep you could access the Services from the Contextual Menu. In OS X you can't. I've no idea why they were removed from there (the archaic obsession with single button mice, perhaps?).

Amen. There are services I'd use quite regularly if they were in a context menu--open URL, search with Google, that sort of thing. But by sticking them into a sub-sub-menu, there's just no point. It's much easer to just do whatever it is directly without messing with the service.

Thanks for the recommendation. Shame it requires Application Enhancer. There is no way I am putting that on my machine.

Agreed, that (and context menu) would be 2 sweet little additions to an excellent and focused app.

Check out the free HotService from Devon Technologies - it moves your Services menu to the top level (next to the Help menu). http://www.devon-technologies.com/products/freeware/services.php. (It only works in Cocoa applications, however.)
