Add Motorola RAZR V3i support to iSync
I have just connected my V3i to my Mac via USB and in the devices it came up with the V3i, so I synched it. It seemed to transfer my address book across, but whilst the phone numbers seem OK, the names are all jumbled up numbers. Is this work around you are suggesting going to fix this?

I've done the same thing and I have the same problem. All my contacts come up with random letters and numbers. I'm planning to upgrade to Tiger tomorrow but Ive read through some of the threads in the discussions section on the apple site but no one seems to have any luck even on 10.4 or above. Hopefully mac will sort this out in their next update, but until then make sure you deselect V3i syncronization in isync or you could lose all of your contacts.

I have 2 razr v3i's. One must have come from HK, and the other out of Europe. On the European one I can only connect via USB (after adding the posted thread to isync), while on the HK version, the BL tooth found the phone and I am able to do Bluetooth file exchange, pics, vidoe, tunes, contacts, and ical...Don't know why?

GUys, my mate has JUST bought the Moto V3i here in Hong Kong. We just fired up with isync after pairing the device and synched up the calendar.app and the address book.app immediately OVER BLUETOOTH!

Let me get this straight: After iSync'ing the V3i -> Did the pictures from your Addressbook show up allright on your HK V3i? |
