10.4: View full-screen PDFs without the onscreen menu

I just found out that you can also double-click to hide the toolbar. In this case it will only come back again if you click once and move the mose, so you can use your mouse to point with the toolbar hidden.

Also, you can use the F and A keys to toggle between "fullscreen" and "actual size".

10.4: View full-screen PDFs without the onscreen menu

That doesn't work for me. Neither the single nor a double click would prevent the toolbar from popping up, as soon as I use the arrow keys on the keyboard for navigation. I tried clicking on the PDF as well as on the black background.

What am I missing?

PB G4, running 10.4.4
