I am looking for Apple to provide us with a truly portable Macintosh experience. Wouldn't be great to have a flash drive (FireWire for speed!) that we could move our entire Home folder with us. Then, when we plugged it in to a Mac, it would recognize it as a Mobile Home (without the tornado tie-downs) and log us in to the computer as though we had an account created on that hard drive?

Windows because I have to. OS X because I want to.

That should be very easy to accomplish.
Just create your home directory on a flashdrive, and specify that directory in NI.
