Strip x86 code from fat binaries

I've noticed that the newest version of Monolingual now removes Architecture. I have been fearful of using it because I don't want to f--- up my machine.

The archs listed are ppc, ppc750, ppc7400, ppc7450, ppc970, ppc64, ppc970-64 and i386.

So if one has a PCC 750 (G3) one could safely remove all the others?

That's a very good question that I want an answer to… if I have a G4.5 (ppc7450), would I need the ppc and/or earlier G4 (ppc7400) archs?
