SafariStand - Add many useful features to Safari

GREAT to see this handy little beast get a write-up on here.

I've been using SS for a few months now, and it's added pure JOY to my browsing experience. As a techie, who spends an inordinate amount of time on the web looking for solutions and reading/posting to forums and using other web app's I find this software totally invaluable. I've never used OmniWeb (as if you'd pay for a browser), so for me the thumbnails are just BRILLIANT. My favorite features, however, are:

  1. Using your mouse wheel to scroll between tabs. Took me a while to work out exactly how to do this. Finally figured out that once the feature is turned on, it only works when you hold the pointer over the tabs bar. Like, duh. Great feature for those times when you've got tons of tabs open (results from a Google search, perhaps).
  2. The fact that it not only closes the download window for you, but that it also automagically sorts your downloaded files into a new folder per day. What an amazing idea. I don't know if it's an original idea, and I don't care, because SS made it happen for me. This feature alone has probably single-handedly saved my sanity.
  3. Being able to re-organize tabs using the sidebar. OM*G. LOVE this. Again, quite useful if you have a patently stupid number of tabs open at once, as I so often seem to do (it's just so EASY when you have a mighty mouse with a scroller and you set middle button to open in a new tab!!).
I RAVE about this little gem all the time. I want Apple to hire this developer, so we don't have to put in add-ons to have some of the, IMHO, need functionality provided by this app.

Well done for bringing SS to light for those who languish in the dark..

I never noticed the "Switch Tab with Wheel" option before. Thank you for pointing it out!
