Same works in forms (like the Search & Replace form in SubEthaEdit) to bypass the OK-button. Press ALT + Return to get a newline, Return only to confirm the form/dialog.
Sometimes ALT + TAB works, too. However, Safari and Camino lost the feature to enter a Tab in a textarea via ALT-Tab.
