Tips for using certain Logitech keyboards and mice
> Being a writer and coder I spend a lot of time with my keyboard, so getting the best possible keyboard was my main concern. My eyes soon set sight on the Logitech diNovo.
The diNovo is basically an oversized laptop keyboard. If you mean "best possible" as "neat looking", then OK, but in terms of the quality of the key switches (etc.), you could have done a lot better. I prefer the IBM Model M (as does nearly every other serious programmer), but Apple's Bluetooth model isn't bad either. I hear the Deck keyboard is good too, and is much cooler looking than Logitech's :) Also, any mac (or PC) lets you hook up an external keyboard -- this isn't unique to the mac mini.

Funny, my MX1000 has been a dream to own and has never, well except for the time I didn't charge it for a week, failed on me. I guess it's because I installed the Logitech Command Center software and used it to program the various buttons on the mouse. And I don't think the diNovo even qualifies as Neat looking, but that's me, simple functional and yes I read the manuals. |
