Both FolderGlance and FinderPop are excellent
Authored by: mm2270 on Dec 05, '05 11:32:31AM

Both of these utilities (FolderGlance and FinderPop) Are excellent little add-ons that any power user should have in their arsenal. You honestly can't go wrong with either one, and they're both free, so price isn't an issue. Which one you use depends on personal preference.
That said, I prefer FinderPop myself. The only thing I'm not clear on, to emphasize Rob's point with FolderGlance, is if FG lets you navigate a bundles contents when you navigated to it from another location, or if it only lets you get to the nested folders when you click DIRECTLY on the app itself. FinderPop works in the latter fashion, so you have to right, or control-click on the actual application to navigate it's contents. Since I don't have FG installed at the moment, I can't test if it works this way too or not.
Anyone care to mention?

It's an option; you can make it work either way. By default, you have to click right on the package. But with a flag set in prefs, it will always show the package drill-down.
