Use the Verizon Nokia 6256i phone with OS X
Verizon is crazy on the subject of bluetooth, which is too bad. They have the best wireless coverage in NYC, but I've got to go with Cingular to get an uncrippled bluetooth phone where I don't have to mod it to get get it work with my bluetooth mac.

I have the Motorola e815. There is full iSync support right out of the box. Simply turn bluetooth on the phone and pair it with the bluetooth settings on your Mac. I also have support for the "Mobile Office" modem access through bluetooth to work. I realize I can't do ringtones and wallpapers but I just wanted to make sure everyone knows you can do all the items without having to hack your phone. Enjoy and yes hopefully Verizon will fully come around some day!

And actually today I just found out a way to transfer custom made ringtones and wallpapers using the vzwpix service. I can do it all now. WoOt! |
