Watch for undocumented behavior of cp -R

Your problem is the trailing / after BOTH Afolder and ~
# cp -R AFolder ~
works fine. This is standard bash behavior.

This is not correct. cp -R Afolder ~ and cp -R Afolder/ ~ produce the same (differing) results as in the hint.
