Possibly eliminate 'chirping' sounds from G5 CPUs

I have a first-gen Dual G5, and I've had the squeal, chirp, etc since day one.
I happens whenever there is "something" going on...network activity, moving something on the screen, disk activity, etc.

Well, I also did a little research, and I found that if I set my processor speed to "reduced" (Power Saver option), the squeal was virtually eliminated. Only the faintest of noises were still detectable.
If I also disabled the "Allow Nap", the machine becomes completely quiet (well, relatively quiet anyway).

[sarcasm]
Even better, if you hold the power button pressed in for a few seconds, it'll go completely quiet!
