Confirm 'Change Extension' dialog via the keyboard
I'm I missing something? What key sequence is '?-Clear'? Is that "Shift + / + Clear"? Meaning I have to use the shift key to get a question mark. I've never heard of the question mark as a modifier key. Also I doesn't seem to work. Please explain.
How to post those special glyphs
On this system, when you preview a post containing numeric entity codes, they are interpreted as characters. So the preview reads right, but if you then submit the post with characters instead of the codes, they become question marks.
The way around this, if you have a lot of codes as in this post, is to edit in a separate window, paste the results into the edit box fresh every time, and (especially) remember to paste it in once more after your final preview, when you submit! Rob, perhaps you could edit the original hint text and use this method to put ⌘ In fact, I think this comment should be a hint unto itself, regarding this site instead of OS X!

My above method is unnecessary now that this comment engine is accepting Unicode. Now we can just insert characters like ⇧⌘⌥ in the edit box and they no longer become question marks.

Note that , U+F8FF (and hence
) is an Apple symbol on Macs, but not on Windows machines. I know, this being macosxhints.com, most won't notice the difference. In Wingdings, it's actually the Windows symbol... (It's the last entity in the private range, so no guarantees what's displayed.)
