Anybody with Freecom Portable I USB?
Authored by: marcv on Mar 23, '02 04:58:47AM

I have a Portable I USB (I think it's the Portable I, it has a blue cover FREECOM Portable Drive written on it.)
The driver-homepage says it might work.
Installed the driver. So far only the Finder recognizes the drive, as a CDrom player.
Anybody else have more succes? Maybe something else is wrong with my system. BTW Apple System Profiler says:
(Freecom) (CD-W54E)
Apple disc burning:Supported
Product ID: -1023 ($fc01)
Vendor: Freecom Computer Peripherals <TEAC>

Freecom Portable I USB? Fixed!

Got it to work, after re-applying the 10.1.3 OS X updater, and removing ASM and Menuversum; one of those actions solved it.
Burned succesfully in Toast and Disk Copy; iTunes seems to work too, i was only out of empty disks, so couldn't check yet.
Utterly great
