Identify as root in NetInfo manager

there is another solution: in NetInfo mmanager, under menu DOMAIN, identify yourself as root (you must have root account enabled), with the root password. then you won't have this problem.

by the way: has anyone found a way to acces a scsi tape device via /dev/rst0 ?? this file does not exists under OSX, but i'd like to backup my stuff using a tape drive and the UNIX command tar.
