How do people use the "check" feature?
Authored by: DougAdams on Oct 05, '05 04:01:19AM
If you have songs you don't want to hear (and therefore "uncheck"), why do you bother having them in your library?

(I guess the same could be asked about my carefully preserved piles of MacWorld back-issues I never re-read.) I believe the enabled check box was originally designed for excluding CD tracks from being imported. Likewise, un-enabled library tracks will be ignored when converting or when copying to other devices. It has always been a feature of iTunes (though not SoundJam). Rarely are legacy features removed from an application.
