I have no idea why this is suddenly all over the Mac sites. It's been possible for a long time.

And yes, you can use Apple's X11 if you like.

Yes, I agree, this is not newsworthy. I`ve had a complete Gnome 2.4 running on 10.3 from the day it was available through fink, on Apples X11. No Problems.

Nothing to see here, move along, move along!

Add a tally for me too. I've been using KDE, installed by Fink, in Apple's X11 ever since I got Tiger.
