The Macromedia Flash Player 8 can be downloaded from the link below. The "download" button brought me to a Mac OS X option.

Crash from Flash install
Authored by: kmaz on Sep 23, '05 07:01:12PM

I don't know if it is something specific for my computer or not but after installing this upgrade when going to the Apple.com web site the Safari and Firefox too both allow the computer's processor to be taken over by something. I'm guessing that it is something to do with the Flash. After a while you either have to shutdown or you get the Multi-Language Crash (sorry I don't know the correct term folks) and you are forced to do so. Again, I'm not very savy as to why this is happening but when I removed these newly installed files from the Internet Plug-Ins Folder and restarted the problems stopped. Ideas??
