10.3: Enable Distinctive Ring fax answering

HELP!!! I have a problem attempting to change the distinctive ring on my computer. In Terminal I type the information for sudo pico followed by my password. However, the following is the text that shows up next:

UW PICO(tm) 2.5 File: /usr/bin/fax

#!/bin/sh
#
# fax - script to make, send, receive, view or print a fax
# Copyright 1993-1999 by Ed Casas
#
# --- Start of user configuration section ---
#
# Notes:
#
# - do not put spaces before or after the equal (=) signs.
#
# - variables can also be set on the command line, for example:
# fax DEV=cua0 send file.ps
# or in a configuration file (see CONFIGFILES below)
#

# The names of the fax script, efax and efix, including full path
# if necessary.

I can't get my computer to scroll down to the rest of the information. I can only seem to access it if I resize or maximize my window. But I only get a few more lines and that's it.

I typed the above commands to try to page down, etc, but no such luck in getting them to work.

I'm running os 10.3.9 on my G5 computer. I know tracking down this information shouldn't be so hard!!

I would appreciate ANY assistance you can offer for the problem!!!! Thanks!
