iTunes
It seems that this doesn't work in iTunes. I've tried it. I have no idea why, but I'm guessing the Apple have hobbled certain 'sharing' features when it comes to iTunes. Seems pointless, as the alternative of using aliases, cronjobs/startup scripts easily gets around the problem.

Or, perhaps I moved the library rather than copying it. I wonder! Perhaps someone else could give it a try.
