ever-elusive keyboard and mouse shortcuts
Along those lines, the ever elusive keyboard shortcuts I am looking for is to unhide all apps and to unminimize windows, the inverse of two commands for which there are keyboard shortcuts.

Word. Thanks for the response. Some suggestions for what you asked:
You can probably assign a shortcut for Show All using Keyboard Shortcuts in System Preferences (with limitations) or with a third-party utility (less or no limitations). To unminimize windows without using a mouse take a look at Witch (donationware). I'm not aware of any other way of doing that. I've never tried those since I use a CodeTek VirtualDesktop Manager Pro and don't frequently hide apps or minimize windows. Well... the latter more often on this iBook G3 I'm using right now when a particular virtual desktop gets uncomfortably window-cluttered.

press ctrl-F3, use the arrow keys to navigate to the window you want to un-minimise, then press return. works for any other Dock tile, as well. you can turn this on or off in the Keyboard & Mouse pane of System Preferences. it's on by default in Tiger. |
